Following international coverage of the occupations of universities across the UK and Italy, the occupation here of the Department of Finance during anti-student fee protests late last year and the occupation of Department of Education grounds with the ‘surprise conference’ on education, the Provisional University and FEE invite you to a discussion on occupation and the university.
With live video feed from activists in the UK on the controversial occupations there, this event is a chance to talk about the political potential of occupation today and to ask if, how, when and where we should occupy.
