As part of a collaboration with Kairos, we have translated this video interview with Gigi Roggero. Gigi’s analysis is particularly interesting because it approaches the question of debt and default from a political (rather than economistic) point of view, conceptualizing default as a form of class conflict. In this video he sets out the task of organising insolvency and the right to bankruptcy as key political challenges in terms of challenging financial capitalism.
